Privacy Policy.
Effective Date: May 1, 2026. Last Updated: May 1, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how Maple collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use Ohana Events.
The app helps users discover unofficial Salesforce ecosystem events, save events, view event locations, request access to host-approved events, exchange contact information, and help hosts manage listings and attendee requests.
This app is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Salesforce. The app is not the official Salesforce event app.
We collect account and profile information such as name, email, company, job title, Salesforce role, interests, bio, networking preference, and authentication/session data.
We collect event activity data such as searches, filters, event views, saves, schedule activity, map/direction interactions, external registration clicks, invite requests, request statuses, host reviews, and admin moderation actions.
For gated events, we collect request notes, answers, data-sharing acknowledgements, host review decisions, waitlist/approval status, and related timestamps.
Exact hidden venue data is protected and only shown when event rules and approval status allow it. Public location context may still be shown before approval.
Contact exchange data includes request, acceptance, decline, and mutual contact reveal status. Private contact details are shown only after accepted contact exchange or where another explicit product flow explains sharing.
Hosts can see applicant information for their own events and may export event-scoped applicant information. Hosts are expected to handle that information responsibly and only for appropriate event-related purposes.
Maple admins may access user, event, request, notification, analytics, moderation, export, and operational data to operate the beta, support users, moderate content, improve the product, and review manual relationship or lead signals.
We may use service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, maps, analytics, error monitoring, and other infrastructure needed to operate the app.
External registration links and map/direction services may be provided by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
You may update profile information, choose whether you are open to networking, decline contact exchange requests, and contact Maple to request privacy assistance or account support.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. We retain information as needed to operate the app, support users, comply with obligations, and maintain audit and moderation records.
Roadmap features such as CRM sync, AI scoring, sponsor dashboards, payments, QR check-in, contests, and full messaging are not part of the current privacy scope unless later added and disclosed.
